As we are all aware, telecom majors Jio and Airtel have increased their tariffs with effect from July 3, 2024. However, prepaid users can temporarily avoid the tariff hike by recharging before the deadline, which is July 3, 2024. If our plans are either due for renewal or will be due within the next few weeks, we can do the recharge now, as Jio and Airtel* users can queue up their plans in advance by recharging with the currently available plans (i.e., by paying the existing amount). The queued plan gets automatically activated once the current plan expires*. 

*Airtel allows you to queue up your plans, but not all recharges are eligible for this. It will be better to check with Airtel customer care whether your current plan and the plan that you are going to recharge now are eligible for this functionality.
